Is she a good fit for me?
Brittany works with all genders and ages. She has a special passion for empowering women and LGBTQ+ folks to learn to trust themselves, live out loud and take up space in the world without feeling the guilt associated with making space for their wants and needs.

Art Therapy
Often times people ask "Do I have to do art therapy if I see Brittany?" The answer is no.

There are often times when you are feeling many different emotions, yet you can’t find the words to express what you are experiencing. Using lines, shapes, colors and movement can be a way to express those feelings in a different way, without having to solely rely on words.
You don’t have to consider yourself an artist to get the full benefits of art therapy! Brittany has worked with many people who have some familiarity with art materials, and many who haven’t picked up a crayon since second grade. As long as you have an openness and willingness, art therapy can be for you.
Art therapy is about the process of creating, rather than the product you create.

She utilizes art materials to guide in the process- allowing for creation, curiosity and playfulness.

*Participation in Art Therapy is not a requirement to see Brittany Deutch

A first session with Brittany
If you are using insurance for your sessions you first session will always be the assessment your insurance requires. I use the assessment you filled out to help me with this. This is a time for me to get to know more about you, and what brings you into my office. If you are not using insurance I still gather this information, but we can work on your timeline.
